Build your own pollinator automaton with a Grab and Go Kit from Ipswich Libraries.

Recommended ages: 8 + with parental supervision or assistance

Time to complete this project: approximately 1 hour with the kit (allow at least an extra hour if you are making this with your own resources at home)

Collect a kit: kits were available to collect from the between Monday 21st September and Friday 2 October. If you were unable to collect a kit you can still make this at home by downloading the instructions and templates and gathering the following materials:

  • an A4 piece of plain white card 
  • 2 pipe cleaners OR a piece of floristry wire cut into (x2) 15 cm lengths
  • a few pieces of coloured card

  • a pencil
  • scissors
  •  glue stick
  • coloured pens or pencils
