Click and Find – Investigating your Anzac Ancestors

As we commemorate 100 years since the landing at Gallipoli, there has been renewed interest in the Australian servicemen and women who served in World War I.

Do you have any relatives who were involved in the war and would you like to find out more about their experiences during this time?

If so, why not come along to one of our free hands-on sessions and learn how to use online tools and library resources to uncover more about your family’s service history?  Sessions will include searching for service records and other military information on the National Archives of Australia and Australian War Memorial websites.  The session will also provide an overview of the Discovering Anzacs website.

These stand-alone sessions will be held at the following branches of Ipswich Libraries.  The content of each session will be the same.  Participants should have some computer experience.
