Challenge Information 

Learn how to make beautiful origami no matter what your skill level.
All you have to do is pick up one of our special origami paper kits then select a design you want to make from our inhouse booklet and have a go!  

Please note that the origami booklets are for in house use only and cannot be taken home. Should you desire to continue creating at home the library has many books on origami to get you creating in no time.
The paper kits have been designed to have enough paper to make up to 6 creations.
We recommend families only take one as there is plenty in the pack.

Talk to Makerspace staff to get started!

 

How to Participate
    1. Visit the Springfield Central Makerspace or Ipswich Central Makerspace and speak with a Makerspace officer to get you registered, Fill out the Registration Form.
    2. Select your kit and a design from the Makerspace Origami Booklet then follow the instructions.
    3. Show your creation to the Makerspace staff. They will assist you with applying any finishing touches.
    4. Makerspace staff will take a photo of the creation for our displays. Then you can take your creation home to enjoy!
