Many of the images in Picture Ipswich have been kindly provided by the community. Along the way gems have come to light that are unable to be identified or important information is missing and because of this we need the community’s help.
We are always looking for photographs depicting the life and times of Ipswich. One of the most important events on the calendar of any town is the local Show. This image was taken in the early 1950s at the Marburg Show. If you have images from your local show, especially pre 1955, and would like to share them with the community we would love to see them.
