- Use a library space to host your own event – from book launches to meet-and-greets and book signings, we can help you connect with readers.
- Get involved in library programs – there may be opportunities to be included in events such as Saturday Stories, Ipswich Reads, Holiday Workshops and Author Hours.

- Venue availability – suitable spaces may be limited depending on demand and scheduling.
- Library staffing and resources – our ability to support events depends on team capacity and available resources.
- Event timing – proposed dates will be reviewed in light of existing library programs and commitments.
- Library branch opening hours – we’ll need to make sure your event fits within when the doors are open!
Legal Deposit
If you publish in Queensland, then legal deposit applies to you. This means that you are required by law to deposit a copy of your publication with State Library of Queensland.
