Launched as part of Seniors’ Week activities, Winning the Coal : Coal Miners’ stories from the Rosewood Scrub, co-authored by locals Bob Hampson and Wendye Gratton of the Rosewood Scrub Historical Society, was funded by Ipswich City Council through the annual $5000 Viva Cribb Bursary.
The book celebrating the lives of Marburg and Rosewood miners is now available to view in the Viva Cribb Local History Resource Room.
