Printing and Photocopying 

To take advantage of these services, you will need a library membership card. See staff if you don’t have a card or are not yet a member. Chat with staff about free library membership and card.

Printing is a simple, safe and secure way to print at any library branch—whether you’re using a library computer or your own device. 

Scanning is free of charge. You can scan documents to a USB from any library printer. 


Adding Money to Your Print Account 

  • Top up your print account at any branch using the Self Check kiosk (Print & Copy Wallet) 
  • Payment options: cash or credit card 
  • Refunds and transfers to another print account are not available for unused funds 

Printing from a Library Computer 

  • We recommend booking a computer to ensure availability (see Computer Usage Guidelines) 
  • Log in with your library card number and PIN/password 
  • Send your document to print and release it at the print terminal 
  • Ensure you have enough funds in your print account before printing 

Printing from Your Own Device 

  • Access My Print Center using your device while in the library 
  • Ensure you are connected to Ipswich Libraries free Wi-Fi 
  • Upload your documents and release your print job at the print terminal 
  • Note: My Print Center is not available from home

Important Tips 

  • Emails must be saved as a PDF to upload and print. 
  • For best results, save PowerPoint files as PDF to upload and print. 
  • A3 documents must be formatted to A3 size before uploading to My Print Center.
