Learn how to create a unique character concept!
Develop your character concept using the booklet in our kit pack, use the creative tools provided to transform your concept into a unique character design.
Customize your character further by using the Scan N Cut templates and specialty templates for this challenge.
Please note that the Brother Scan N Cut machine is only available at Ipswich Central Library.
What’s in the kit:
– A character quest booklet
– A single 3D character model set
– A Colour Guide
The Model construction instructions are only available in the space and are on display as the models are expected to be constructed within the space.
How to Participate
- Visit the Ipswich Central Makerspace
- Fill out the Registration Form.
- Pick up a kit from the crafting table in Makerspace.
- Use your quest booklet to brainstorm what kind of character you want to make.
- Add your design to your model parts by following the colour guideline sheet.
- Follow the model instruction sheet to bring your model to life
- Talk to makerspace staff to level up your design further with the Brother Scan N Cut at Ipswich Makerspace.
- Paste your cut outs and add finishing touches with pen or pencil
- Makerspace staff will take a photo of the creation for our displays. Then you can take your creation home to enjoy!
